Courtney Ama is a mystic, mermaid, mentor and creator of Promethea School.

Born with heightened sensitivities and awake to the fundamental truths of this reality from a young age, she experienced her first call by the spirits into shamanic work at 21, though initially she declined, she continued exploring the intersections between creative and spiritual practice and the study of the soul.

Holding a first class Masters Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow, she is a widely published writer and poet who has performed extensively on stages across the U.K. and internationally. Courtney has facilitated numerous writing workshops and appeared multiple times on radio and television, with leading roles in productions with National Theatre Scotland and Edinburgh International Festival - earning awards and recognition for both her writing and unique performance style.

At the shadow of her Saturn return, Courtney was once again called - unavoidably this time - into the realms of shamanic work and began undertaking deeper study into the quantum healing arts and feminine-led wisdom lineages.

After hundreds of 1:1 readings, sessions, mentorships and transmissions, Courtney has stepped into a deeper role as teacher and facilitator and thus, Promethea School was born.

Here, you will find information on how to work with Courtney through group containers, Seichim attunement/training, online events and high-level 1:1 mentorship with a focus on apprenticing for emerging or established healers and helpers.

Courtney’s mystical and activating energy merges with a distinctly truthful, lovingly compassionate and often humorous approach to life which instantly puts the people in her field at ease. Her devotion to guiding others to reconnect with their core truths is the imprint she leaves on the world today.
